Database schema: student_accounts

How student data is protected

Student account records live in their own student_accounts schema in the shared platform database. Row-level security is forced on every table, anonymous access is revoked, and each read runs as the signed-in person.

Students see their own accounts
Parents and sponsors see only what the student shares, scope by scope
Campus staff see accounts at institutions where they hold a student-accounts role
Every insert, update and delete is written to an append-only audit log
